PERSONALITY & YOU

What is an Attitude?
Your Attitude helps describe what things mean to you or the way you see life: bringing insight to your philosophical outlook and the patterns of logic you interpret around or within you.

When you change the way you see the world- you change the way you live life. As such, this is your WHY of seeing things as you do.
You can bring Awareness to your Attitude by asking: "What is true about this?", "How has this truth/the way I see this thing- impacted my life?" and "How helpful and constructive is that impact?"
---
The most Immediate Contexts where you can see your Attitude in motion are in the Midst of Social Situations (Gatherings, Workplace, School) and especially in First Impressions.
Any time you exchange information by
listening to and communicating with others or yourself via expression (or lack thereof), your Attitude is at the fore- seeking commonalities or discovering difficulties to your viewpoints.
Your Attitude helps bring light to how you express, question, evolve and clarify your truths- or protect, reason, excuse and hide them.

There are 7 Attitudes, and each individual has one:

The -Pole describes how your thinking is fueled by Anxiety/Resistance; while the +Pole describes how your thinking is fueled by Openness/Truth.

SLIDING

To move from - to +, each Attitude uses its Stoic/Spiritualist, Skeptic/Idealist or Cynic/Realist partner trait- or uses Pragmatism for a dose of neutrality and assimilation.

This is called "sliding".

Pragmatism, being neutral, can slide to any of these 6 Attitudes to move from - to +.
